Compact Archives is a website by graphic designer and photographer Kendra Petersen Kamp. Originating as a live music photography blog, Compact is also a publisher of zines and tracks the listening progress through the Petersen Kamps’ 600+ CD library. Always making and always collecting, Kendra organizes media and art into a cultural archive that is, well, not quite compact. Compact hopes to find the exceptional in the ordinary through creative compilation.

About Kendra

Kendra is based in Memphis, TN and Grand Rapids, MI and currently works full-time as the Manager of Creative Services at the Memphis Grizzlies. She is independently available to hire for design (album art, layout, merch) and music photography (portraits and live shows).
